Bengaluru: Stumpp Schuele & Somappa Springs Ltd (SSS), through its EV-focused brand 3SEv, has unveiled a new lineup of electric-vehicle charging connectors and sockets as part of its push into the fast-growing EV and charging-infrastructure ecosystem. The newly listed products include Type-2 Guns and Sockets for AC charging and CCS2 Guns and Sockets for DC fast-charging, with DC ratings listed up to 200 A, signalling readiness for high-performance applications.

Positioned under the banner “Leading the charge to an electric future,” 3SEv’s products are engineered to meet global EV standards. The company’s portfolio features modular assembly, lightweight thermoplastic construction, certified electrical ratings, wide operating-temperature tolerances, and IP-rated dust and water protection, all detailed on its product pages.

The 3SEv initiative marks a strategic extension of SSS’s legacy—over 70 years of precision manufacturing excellence within the automotive sector as part of the SSS / Machani Group. By focusing on localised, standards-compliant EV hardware, the brand aims to strengthen India’s domestic supply chain for charging infrastructure and reduce dependency on imported connectors and plug systems.

With Type-2 and CCS2 already entrenched as global standards for AC and DC charging, the new 3SEv offerings position the brand for strong interoperability across EVs and public-charging networks.
